The Knit-Pack and Baseball

Today we went to the Stitch and Pitch at the Arizona Diamondbacks arena. Mum got cool bags of knitting supplies for us, but she said that I will need to wait until I'm older to start to try it. Erica, Casey, and Penny came with us. They got cool bags of stuff too. I like to say "wooouuul." It may be my first word. But the yarn we got was too fluffy and looked like a muppet. Not like sheep "wooouuul" like Daddy's sweater.

Daddy was holding me in the carrier when we walked to the game from Mommy's work. But pretty soon I wanted to look out at the game. Everyone got hats when we came inside. They didn't have one small enough for me, but that's ok, I wore my whale baseball cap.

During the game I sat with Erica and Casey.
Erica decided to sing with me when they were playing God Bless America.

Pretty soon I fell alseep on Daddy. He decided to eat peanuts and left a few on me.

Here's when my bib was still clean. I managed to drool on it. It was really wet when I got home.

Penny was holding me when the game was over. She carried me all the way back to the Arizona Center where we got a frapuccino. Mum said I could only have Mum frapuccino.

Oliver-

It was great to spend the day with you, your mom and Dad! By next year's Stitch 'n Pitch you will be knitting!

Loved the hover craft pics too!

I hope to see you soon.

Ollie -- Next time you're nearby, you gotta remember to stop by and see me!

No wonder I saw Penny's car in the garage...

Looks like you all had fun. I didn't know they did a Stitch 'n' Pitch day!

Sorry Jodie! Mum didn't tell me you were at work yesterday when we were there. We would definitely have come to see you! We'll make a date for this week sometime.

What do you think?? : )

He came along for moral support. And to buy me hot dogs and peanuts!

PLUS having Casey there gave us an additional person to grab a bag of goodies -- including light-up needles and crochet hook, so you can knit/crochet in the dark. Because ... why? I'm not sure. I've never felt the urge to, say, scrapbook in the dark, so this nocturnal crafting thing is all new to me.
