So it's been around 108F/109F the last few days. I can't really go outside, but I really want to go. Instead of looking out the windows and trying to bird watch, I went ahead and built my own nest. Things that go into a nest: large flannel blanket, seasonally-appropriate, of course!, Eppie, a wicker basket, maybe some pillows, and I like to have Dora the Explorer on in the background. My feathered friends (yeah, plus the elephant) and I find it's the new kid's chair this summer. I thought of this myself, so I might have to trademark it. I might have to ask Mama how that's done. But feel free to make your own nest if you're bored.

yeah! oliver! you're back! your nest looks very nice and comfortable.
Ollie, is that you? I thought for a moment you were an eagle. I think everyone needs a nest like this. Good job!
Love,
Grandma
Oliver, I will help you with the trademarking. Gimme a call, my fees are low. :)
