Zoo Tales

Did you know that the Phoenix Zoo and Preserve has big horned sheep and some other pointy-horned animals? The goats, I think. Well they are really pointy-horned, not to be too obvious about it ...

They usually climb on the big red rocks in Papago Park between the Botanical Garden and the Zoo. They let you ride them, if you're sneeky. Not officially part of the petting zoo at the back of the zoo, it's still pretty fun. I suppose the only thing to really worry about is the seat belt. They don't have five-point harnesses as standard equipment. Pappa told Mum that I should just hang onto the horns and we'll see what happens. After all the wildlife at Grandma and Granddad's house, I had to find some adventure somewhere.
