Last weekend we went to a date and nut place right near our house. It's kind of like a curio shop and a place that sells preserves and nuts and dates.
We have been wanting to stop by for a while. See, they will make you a date shake. Unfortunately, their blender was broken when we were there. We bought some Arizona grown dates and pecans.
Mum and Pappa stuffed the pecans in the dates and took them to a family get together. I have more to tell you about that later. Speaking of nuts and dates, here's a picture of me and Tita Tia. She was at the family get together.
I also got to eat some mashed up date last night. Pappa gave it to me after I ate all my cereal. I was going to eat some peach, but Pappa thought it was kind of acidic. I agree, whatever that means. It didn't make me want to try any more. More dates!

Oliver, you an Tia make a good pair. Perhaps we can put you on the front of a magazine cover.
love, Grandma Becker
Oliver, I like it that this is not a real camel. One time, when your dad was small, I took him to a petting zoo and a camel bit a little boy and would not let his arm go. Grandma had to hit the camel in the nose with her purse. This camel is much better.
