Baptism, or Puddle-Wonderful

It's no secret that I like water. Mum and Pappa taught me how to splash in the bathtub, and I even went to the pool once. So I played it cool when they wanted to pour water on my head. During the ceremony I had a good time. I tried talking to the deacon and I was making silly faces, even giggling when Pappa held me over the cistern. All my normal friends were there, including Grandma and Granddad, who came down from Colorado. Usually they are only in the phone, so it was nice that I could see them. Lola said that I needed to add my bit of drool to the family baptismal gown. Anything for Lola! Somewhere I have a picture of everyone together, but it must be in my other camera...

Afterward, we had a party, which was remarkably not wet at all, being summer in the desert. I did learn to play guitar with my Tita Kay and Tito Francis. Francis taught me everything he knows, which is quite a bit.

Grandma and Granddad watched me on Monday night while Mum and Pappa went out to a concert. She made me laugh and let me chew on my pet dragon. They had to leave on Tuesday to go back to Colorado... so they can buy me more presents.
